Conquer The Hill: The Dream & The Terrain

Conquer The Hill: The Dream & The Terrain

There is a duality between the obstacles that lay in your way and your ultimate goal/dream that you are trying to achieve. The journey is just as important as the end goal because it is on the journey where you learn who you truly are, and you are able to take away the lessons needed for you to evolve. This evolution allows you to enjoy attaining the dream much  more because you look at the dream itself in an entirely different perspective.

The journey is never straightforward, even though the goal is always in mind. Challenges and tribulations surface from the moment you start on the path that you set out on. Overcoming each challenge provides you with a little more knowledge and ultimately wisdom to accompany you on the goal of achieving the dream you set out to conquer. This is where the true value lies in the journey because the more wisdom you gain the easier it is to value and innerstand why you created that dream for yourself in the first place. It gives newfound meaning to your dream because you are looking at it from a totally different lens. You are able to deeply internalize the effect that the dream will have on your life. It forces you to place even more value on the importance of how your life will be altered rather than just achieving the dream itself. Ultimately the problems that arise while on your way to your destination, are themselves extremely valuable because they help you to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually while expanding your outlook on how achieving the dream will actually affect your life on a whole.

Now the dream is extremely significant in itself because it is what propels you to want to evolve in this life. You want to obtain something or achieve something great so you are willing to go through the fire to get to where you want to be. The feelings of pure bliss, satisfaction, and

worthiness are all eventually felt once the goal is achieved. So you are fighting for both the achievement of the goal itself and the feelings that you experience once the goal is completed. The dream is what keeps you up at night and it wakes you up in the morning. It provides both the motivation you need to keep going but also makes you want to dedicate the discipline that is needed to actually achieve your dream. So, there is a dual effect in the very aspirations you set for yourself—they shape you in more than one way.

The journey and the dream are deeply connected because each shapes and strengthens the other. The journey tests and grows you from within by building resilience, sharpening the vision, and revealing your true self. These challenges become lessons, and setbacks, as well as teachers. As you grow, your overstanding of the dream deepens; it’s no longer just a goal, but a meaningful part of who you are. Meanwhile, the dream fuels your will, giving direction and reminding you of your purpose when things get hard. It also helps to sustain the willpower needed to keep moving. The dream pulls you forward as the journey, simultaneously, prepares you to reach it. Neither is complete without the other. The journey shapes your character and the dream shapes your perspective. Together, they form a cycle of growth, where pursuit and purpose are equally vital in who you’re becoming! So when the path feels heavy or unclear,

remember: it’s all part of the design. You created the dream, but the dream also re-creates you. And it’s in that ongoing exchange—between becoming and achieving—that the truest form of success is found!
