How far are you willing to climb for your goal? THE IRIE BLOG

How far are you willing to climb for your goal? THE IRIE BLOG

Life has its challenges. Whether we choose to take up the mantle and run is strictly our choice. Only those who start at the foot of a mountain can end up seeing the view from the summit. Sometimes, in the beginning, these feats seem too big, too tall, too wide for us to climb; yet there shouldn’t be a mountain high enough. The only way you can reach the horizon is by starting now. Seize the moment. Take advantage of your strengths and start the climb now; so that you can enjoy the view from up top later.

Don’t be fearful of the steepness of the climb but enjoy the experience of the journey in the making. Be proud of your Edge Hills, the ones you look back at years later and laugh about the nervousness you felt. Rejoice at the fact that you learned how to use the tools at your disposal in order to continue the climb on the next challenge. Keep climbing the hill to see your edge. The only thing stopping you is yourself.

A leap of faith is usually called for, but rarely answered. Here’s to those who hear the call and act. Those who see a problem and jump into action to try and solve it with their own hands. Life does come with its enigmas, things we don’t know how to do yet, but what matters is taking that next step forward. Hang on, even when the only thing left is the Will to see your vision through.

When facing a hill of your own, it is possible to lose sight of your surroundings due to the focus on reaching the pinnacle. Living through obstacles should not just be grinding away or stopping indefinitely to smell the roses on the way; but a healthy balance that allows you to admire the nature of life around you while also not losing sight of your goals. Edge Hills are meant to teach us something about ourselves, be aware of your nature and the life that is around you while you march on.

Life is about experience, not how much you got done in a given period of time. Failure will only be met if you completely turn around and stop moving towards the edge of the hill. Everything else is a lesson worth learning.

Don’t feel overwhelmed by what’s left in an Edge Hill; enjoy and cherish how much you’ve lived and learned in the process. Rest is good. Don’t just stop permanently unless you’re contemplating  fully switching paths. Experience all of your emotions, as long as you live to see through it all, you will overcome.

Ever thought about how it feels to be on top of the world? It’s possible. Live it. You only accomplish things when you finish them. Life is meant to be lived always to the fullest, so get up and live.
